Warranty & Return Policy
2‑Year Limited Warranty
All modules are covered by a 2‑year limited warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and covers defects in materials, components, and workmanship under normal use.
If a module fails due to a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the module at our discretion. Refunds are not offered — only repair or exchange. Replacement units will be new. Repaired units, if QA-cleared by extensive testing, will be restocked to a refurbished inventory marked as such, for spares, research & development.
*Replacement units will not possess the same Serial Numbers or limited edition features (where applicable) as the original module.
What the Warranty Covers
Manufacturing defects
Faulty components
Assembly or soldering defects affecting the circuits (ie, shorts, bad grounds)
Normal operation failures not caused by misuse
If your module develops an issue, contact us with:
A description of the problem
Proof of purchase
Photos or video demonstrating the issue (if applicable)
We may request the module be returned for inspection before confirming warranty coverage.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:
Incorrect power connection (reverse polarity, over‑voltage, wrong PSU, etc.)
Physical damage, drops, impact, or liquid exposure
Burns, scorching, or electrical shorts
Modification, tampering, or unauthorized repair attempts
Use outside standard Eurorack specifications
Cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality
Modules returned with evidence of tampering or misuse may be returned to the customer unrepaired.
Returns & Exchanges
We do not offer refunds. We offer exchanges only in the following cases:
The module arrives defective (DOA)
The module develops a covered issue within the warranty period
The module is returned in its original condition with all accessories
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.
If an exchange is approved, the customer is responsible for shipping the goods back to us - upon approval of a return (exchange), we will provide the destination shipping address to use. We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. We cover the cost of shipping the replacement unit back to you. The customer is responsible for covering any import / tax / tariff related to importing / exporting a package. We reserve the right to refuse any package where the carrier incurs service fees to the recipient (such as UPS Standard) - and at our discretion, we may invoice the customer the amount paid - prior to proceeding with the replacement process.
We do not accept in-person returns or exchanges.
Out‑of‑Warranty Service
If your module is outside the 2‑year warranty or the issue is not covered, we may offer paid repair service when deemed relevant. We will provide a repair estimate before any work is done.
Liability Limitation
Our liability is limited strictly to the repair or replacement of any specific module among our product line. We are not responsible for:
Damage to other equipment
Damage to self
Loss of data, audio, or work
Any other indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Use of our modules is at your own risk. Always power your system with a compliant Eurorack power supply and follow proper installation practices.
Order Cancellation
You are entitled to cancel your order within 1 day (24 hours) of placing it without giving any reason for doing so. No cancellation will be honored after that time, regardless of reason. This deadline is due to costs related to producing our modules which are handcrafted in small batches - and to discourage abuse.
In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement by e-mail at info@electrotilde.com or using our contact form.
We will issue a refund no later than 30 days from the day on which the cancellation has been approved. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and no fees will be incurred for such reimbursement.
*We are not responsible for deliverability delays of email communications, however, If delays occur a reasonable time beyond the cancelation window, we may still, at our discretion and by good will, honor them.
*We are not responsible for banking service delays.
*We reserve the right to refuse any request, if judged fraudulent, abusive or in conflict with the law. We will not be held liable if such refusal of service occurs.
